We appreciate that one of the most important aspects of temporary work is getting paid promptly and correctly.

Payroll Procedures
A timesheet will be sent to you prior to the commencement of every assignment and weekly thereafter for its duration. This should be completed by you, signed by your line manager and returned to our offices (whether by post, fax or hand) no later than 9.00am the following Monday morning. If you miss this deadline, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will be paid on time.

Provided that you have a UK bank account and that we have received your completed timesheet by the required deadline, your pay will be transferred into your account by BACS by the end of that week. Should you not have a bank account for any reason, we will make arrangements for you to receive a cheque and can act as employment referees, to enable you to set up an account.

Entitlements
All temporary workers are entitled to up to four weeks annual leave, which is accrued on a pro-rata basis. In order to request leave, you just need to call our Recruitment Co-ordinator.

City will ensure that all required deductions for National Insurance, PAYE and for any other legal purposes are made from your weekly pay, therefore ensuring continuation of your NI contributions.

We will ensure that any Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay is administered on your behalf, provided that you have met the relevant qualifying periods.
